Live Nation & Music Forward Announce Scholarship Award Recipients For 2023

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation and their partners, the non-profit Music Forward Foundation, announced the six recipients of scholarships for 2023.

The six recipients, who are all pursuing future careers in the music industry, will be awarded scholarships totaling $50,000, the two organizations said.

Senior Asad Whitehead Selected as UJC and Roc Nation Ambassador

Asad Whitehead, senior music industry student, was recently selected as the New Jersey representative for the United Justice Coalition (UJC) Summit Student State Ambassador program in New York City.

The 10-week internship with UJC, and entertainment agency Roc Nation, supports and challenges students from across the country to develop state-specific strategies and create action plans to generate greater awareness about the UJC Summit, a social justice convention to be held at the Javits Center

I had the opportunity to attend “Hip Hop in the Round” at Woods Theatre on Wednesday, Feb. 22, which celebrated this milestone year. In coordination with the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music, Blue Hawk Records promoted its own artists and spotlighted the genre’s deep history.
